After School Programs

Spotlight Kids Camp is proud to offer after-school enrichment classes for children K-6th grade.We offer classes during the Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions. All of our classes are held in the Santa Barbara and Goleta school districts at your child’s school. Space is limited and spots are reserved on a first come first serve basis. We have a scholarship program to help families with financial need.

After School Theater Fun!

Come and join us for this after-school class where we will learn and perform a play with parts for every child. Your child will learn their lines, paint scenery, pick their costume and have fun performing alongside their classmates.

We will play theater and improvisation games which are fun and designed to build a child’s self-confidence and a spirit of teamwork.

 Your kids will come home HAPPY! 

Tuesdays in the MPR from 2:50 to 4:15 pm.

Spring session February 26th thru May 13th

After-School Theater Fun! Grades 5 and 6

This after-school class is limited to grades 5 and 6 and requires permission of the instructor to enroll. This class will be limited to ten students and only students seriously interested in performing will be admitted. We will learn and perform an entire play especially adapted to the students in the class.  We will be learning brand new theater games and advanced improvisational techniques designed to encourage teamwork and build self-confidence. This class requires motivation, memorization and a cooperative attitude.

Spring Session February 26th  thru May 14th

After-School Theater Fun Grades 2-4

This is a new class designed with younger students in mind. We will be developing our very own storybook one act plays which we will perform the last day of class. This class is fun, easy, and includes costumes, set painting and various art projects sure to keep your child’s enthusiasm up. We will learn beginning improvisational skills and have fun working as a team to create our final performance together. 

Thursdays 2:50 to 4:30 pm in the MPR

La Patera Elementary School

 After-School Theater Fun

  Spring Session April 6th thru May 25th

This after-school class is designed with grades 2 thru 6 in mind and will be limited to 12 students. We will learn and perform an entire play especially adapted to the students in the class. We will be learning brand new theater games and advanced improvisational techniques designed to encourage teamwork, build self-confidence and improve memory skills. Costumes, designing props and painting scenery are all included.

Mondays 3:10 to 4:30 pm in the MPR
