At Spotlight Kids one-week theater camps, our kids do more than say a line or two-the boys and girls in Spotlight Kids Camp productions help run the show!Our encouraging, expert theater instructors choose specially-adapted productions that allow every child to play an important character.
All Productions include Singing, Dancing, Staging, Sets & Crafts, with a performance for Friends & Family!
Alice in Wonderland

From August 6th to August 10th

Travel down the rabbit hole and join Alice, one of literature’s most beloved heroines, in her madcap adventures. The ever-curious Alice’s journey begins innocently enough as she chases the White Rabbit. Her adventures become increasingly strange as she races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!
Jack and the Beanstalk
From June 11th to June 15th
This action-packed show brings the story of Jack and the Beanstalk right up to date, with a hilarious script, colorful characters, and irresistible songs. Jack has to overcome a terrible fear of heights – a bit of a problem when it comes to climbing a beanstalk!
Treasure Island
From June 25th to June 29th
The moment Jim Hawkins discovers the treasure map in Billy Bones’ sea chest, his life changes forever: ‘X’ marks the spot of a notorious pirate’s loot! Jim becomes the cabin boy on The Hispaniola, a ship bound for Treasure Island. On the journey Jim encounters the beguiling one-legged ship’s cook Long John Silver – but should he trust this cunning man? Mutiny breaks out but, with the help of eccentric Ben Gunn, Jim bravely helps Squire Trelawney and his men to win through. They defeat the pirates, locate the treasure and sail home triumphant!
Willy Wonka
From July 9th to 13th
The delicious adventures experienced by Charlie Bucket on his visit to Willy Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl’s fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder, in addition to a host of fun new songs, Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone’s sweet tooth.

A generous-spirited, heart-warming musical that touches performers and audiences alike, leaving everyone encouraged!  Young performers find the plot engaging and relevant, and can easily identify with the characters. Drama is a safe way in which to explore sensitive social issues, and ‘Bully!’ is not only a great show, it’s also highly recommended as a learning experience.
